Setup hours will be provided in the Exhibitor Kit from GulfCoast Expo. These hours are generally standard year to year, but they are subject to change.

(NOTE: Optional Exhibit Hours on Monday are 1:15 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. -- this is the only "free time" a lot of people have; some exhibitors choose to open, some offer special programs or "demos" which are listed in the Exhibit Guide, and some choose not to open at all.)

Commercial Support Opportunities

All of the following are considered "Educational Grants," either "Unrestricted," or "Restricted." ALL Support including Unrestricted Grants, Restricted Grants (lecture support, catering support, and travel awards), and Promotional Opportunities, require that the contributing company complete and submit a "Commercial Support Letter of Agreement" signifying that they understand and agree to abide by all requirements of the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education. All contributors will be recognized.

 

Unrestricted Educational Grant Support

Grant Support
This involves direct funding given to support the educational program without restriction as to how the funds will be spent, with the understanding that they will be expended on educational expenses only. The Clinical Virology Symposium will recognize contributors on this website, and by printing their logo on posters in the Exhibit Hall.  Unrestricted Educational Grants may be given in any amount beginning at $1,000.


Restricted Educational Grant Support (RGS)    

This involves funding to support expenses SPECIFIED by the grantor, as defined below. Some grants support educational expenses while others support catering, or provide direct support to individual attendees.

Named Lectureship
$1,250/year for 3 years. Three year commitment. Lectureship must be named for an INDIVIDUAL not a company. Each year, you will be asked to name your 3 preferred lectures from the program. Final decision is at the discretion of the Clinical Virology Symposium.

Lecture Support    
One-time commitment of $1,200. You will be asked to select your 3 preferred lectures from the program. Final decision is at the discretion of the Clinical Virology Symposium.

Speaker Welcome Baskets    
One-time commitment of $1,200. Symposium Chair will recognize the contribution on the welcome basket card.

Travel Awards

These awards are made to individuals whose abstracts are judged (by the PASCV Council) to be of high scientific quality, and who need assistance in order to attend the Symposium. Support will be recognized at the Awards Banquet, and in the Awards section of the Program Manual

Named Travel Award - Named $1,500
General Travel Award - General $750

Catering Support (RGS)

Varying levels of support are available for each catering event. All support will be recognized.

 

Sunday Opening Dessert Reception
Open to all attendees | 1 available
The Dessert Reception is held in the Exhibit Hall during the opening session of Scientific Posters and Exhibits.

Full Host $5,000 | Co-Host $3,000

Wine & Cheese Reception
Open to all attendees | 2 available
